This beautiful, clear purple stone comes from the Greek word for miso. In Japanese, it is violet aoseishi. Perhaps everyone couldn't help but think of violet blue-purple stones.

In fact, the name iolite is a gemstone name, and in the mineral world it is called "cordierite." This name comes from French geologist Louis Cordier. The beautiful blue-purple color of this stone is due to the fact that it contains trace amounts of iron.

Iolites with strong polychromaticity appear blue to purple when viewed from one side, and pale yellow to colorless when viewed from another. Every time you tilt the stone, its expression changes, making it a fun stone to wear.
