It was named Labradorite when it was discovered in the Labrador Peninsula in Canada in 1770. At first glance, the stone has a calm gray tone, but it has a soft shine on its polished surface. This optical effect is named "Labradorescence," which means "Labador light." Among the Labra Dressens, which emits a rainbow-like light, there are stones that emit strong blue light and stones that emit strong yellow light. It's also fun to try and find the sparkle you like.
