[One-of-a-kind] Malaya Garnet Necklace
シリーズ:Rough Stone
Tanzania's Malayan Garnet is a stone that is harvested in the Umba River basin and is also known as Umbalite. Malaya in Swahili is "dust, dust, trash, slit, slack." It is said that it originated from the fact that it originally belonged to any garnet group, so even if it was found it was abandoned. Malaya also means "prostitute" in slang, and since it has the nature of a change in color, the colors that appear differently under daylight sunlight and fluorescent lights, it is likened to a prostitute who becomes a cheerful appearance at night. There is also a theory that miners called it Malayan Garnet. This is a Malayan garnet harvested from a river deposit. It is washed away by the river and has a natural rounded shape of river stones.
